Boys Class C/D ... winner Lopez Lomong (Tully) sets the 3.1 Mile course record of 15:39.0 ... his time was nearly a minute faster than team mate Dominic Luka (16:35) who had the second fastest time of the day ... Lopez changed his running style somewhat by going out fast with the intention of running a fast time - course observers reported his one mile time as 4:45 and his two mile time as 9:54 (Lopez led most of the race) ... Dominic Luka is not 100 percent - he has painful tendonitis in a knee.

 

Girls Class C/D ... winner Kylee Jordan (Lansing) had the fastest girl's time of the day by less than one second ... she led most of the race in a good solo effort. Girls Class C/D ... Katie O'Konsky (Groton, 3rd) and Kerrin Epstein (Moravia, 2nd) Girls Class C/D ... Tessa Sheldon (Pulaski, 5th) and Stephanie Teale (Fabius, 4th)

 

Boys Class A ... almost 2.5 miles into the race ... winner Anthony Rossettie (Corning, left) and runner-up Mike Moore (McQuaid)

 

Girls Class A ... early the race (about 650 meters) ... front row leaders (left to right) are Amanda Kazaninski (Auburn, 2nd), Kassie Simmons (Corning, winner) and Elysia Townsend (Auburn, 4th)

 

Boys Class B ... almost 2.5 miles into the race ... Robert Young (Newark, 2nd place) is leading (and led most of the race), but winner Kevin Blaich (Westhill) is closing in with a strong finish.

 

Girls Class B ... winner Sarah Allen (Southern Springs) led the entire race in an excellent solo effort ... missed the best girl's time of the day by less than one second Girls Class B ... 2nd place finisher Meghan Hunsiker (New Hartford)
