The following lists come strictly from last year's cross country performances (no consideration of track performances or other subjective criteria) ... The overall rating for 2006 was determined from the individual ratings shown by the same method used during the course of the season ... The school "grade" of each runner pertains to the coming year ... Runners with no results in my XC database are not included in these pre-season lists (Girls XC performance database). Therefore, these lists simply begin 2007 where XC 2006 left-off ... I realize some runners have shown nice running improvement during track, but that improvement will become evident when the season begins ... In general, last year's performances are a decent method of identifying returning runners that bear watching in 2007. The list reflects various Class changes ... for example: Camden (Class A to Class B), Holland-Patent (Class B to Class C), Cooperstown (Class D to Class C), Westmoreland (Class C to Class D), Cato Meridian (Class C to Class D) Once the season begins, these lists are not used in any way to rank individual runners. |

She finished 3rd in the Varsity E Division of the Manhattan Invitational, 16th at States (Class "B"), and 53rd at Federations (she was consistently good through-out XC) ... Michelle ran well during both indoor and outdoor track ... she lowered her 3000m PR to 10:42. |

She finished 59th at Federations (despite a nasty head cold) ... The Tully girls competed in the McDonald's Maymont Silver Race in Virginia , and Kelly took 4th ... Kelly Coyne is good example of a runner who much prefers XC to track (she doesn't even run during the indoor season) ... she did set 3000m PR during outdoor track (10:56.7). |

Kelseigh Groth (Tully, photo left) ... Kelseigh has just recently transferred from LaFayette to Tully ... Kelseigh won the Section 3 Class "D" race in 2006 and finished 8th at States (Class "D") ... she won the C/D division of the Tully Invitational (beating all the Tully girls) and finished a good 11th in the big OHSL Championship Meet ... LaFayette does not have a track program, so Kelseigh has no track performances in the track database. |

In outdoor track, Christine set a nice 1500m PR at State Qualifiers (4:49) and just missed qualifying for States. |
