Nichole Lister (South Jefferson) ... Nichole started the day by running the anchor leg on South Jefferson's winning 4x800 Relay which set a school record 9:52.2 - Nichole split 2:15.0 (after running the opening 400m in 64.3) ... Later in the meet, Nichole split 5:09.9 (1600m) on South Jeff's winning DMR (13:00.0) ... both relay efforts were solo performances (all by herself).

Nichole Lister is a Footlocker XC Finalist (she finished 12th in the nation) ... she did not run indoor track ... In an early season dual meet at Carthage, Nichole ran a 1500/3000 double of 4:48.7 and 10:39.3 (in less than all-out effort) ... She will be attending Boston College next year.

Brittany Burns (South Jefferson) ... split 4:01.8 (1200m) in the DMR and 2:26.1 in the 4x800 Relay ... Brittany finished 14th at the State Class B XC Championships at Chenango Valley last fall.

 

Alexis Nuffer (Beaver River) ... shown in the Triple Jump above ... Alexis is a member Beaver River XC that won the State Class D Championship last fall ... She ran two 800m relay splits in this meet (2:31, 2:34) ... Alexis is 15' long jumper and 33' triple jumper Ellen Stevens (Beaver River, right) ... Ellen ran two very good 400m relay splits (61.6 and 61.7) ... She finished 4th in the State Class D XC Championships last fall.

 

Nana Sang Bender (Onondaga) ... Nana had another good day running two good 1600m splits (4x1600, DMR ... 5:21.9, 5:22) and a good 800m split (2:26) 100 Meter Hurdle Relay (fast heat) ... Brittany Moody (South Jeff, 16.7) edged Heather Boyle (Baldwinsville) ... the race was run into a head-wind.

 

Boys 4x1600 Relay ... opening leg ... left to right, Scott Vandermolen (Tully, fastest opening leg - 4:45.9), Jon or Jeff Slaven (V-V-S, 4:51.7 split) and Alex Cross (Rome Free, 4:52 split)
