Phoenix Co-Ed Relay Results

 

Girls 100 Meter Hurdle Relay ... Allison Stankavage (Chittenango) had the fastest individual time (16.0) ... later in the meet, Allison ran a 59.2 anchor leg (400m) on Chittenango's winning 4x400 relay

 

Boys 3x1500 Meter Relay ... first division ... Ozzie Myers (Chittenango) had the fastest time of the day (4:06.6) ... following Ozzie above is Dan Ballard (Faith Heritage) who had the 3rd fastest overall time (4:14.8) ... the 1500m times of the three runners from each school were added together to determine the relay winner ... Chittenango set a new meet record (12:58) with Ozzie's time combined with team mates Luke Grasmeyer (4:24) and Ben Jackson (4:28)

 

Boys 3x1500 Meter Relay ... second division ... Steve Corsello (Skaneateles) just missed having the fastest overall time (4:07.1) in an excellent solo effort

 

Girls 3x1500 Meter Relay ... early in the third division race ... Amberlyn Mattice (Solvay, 2nd overall, 5:10.5) leads race winner Ashley Hughes (Phoenix, 4:57.4) ... freshman Jessica Goodrich (Solvay) was 3rd (5:18.4) ... Ashley Hughes will be attending Providence College next fall.

 

Girls 1600 Meter Sprint Medley Relay ... at the finish ... eighth-grader Lauren Lopez (Tully) holds on to edge Delana Spaulding (Little Falls) who came from well-off-the pace to just miss

 

Boys 4x100 Meter Relay ... at the finish ... Robert Grobsmith anchors winning Solvay (44.7) over J-D (45.7)

 

Girls 4x100 Meter Relay ... at the finish ... Stephanie Burrows anchors winning Chittenango (53.0) with Lindsay Kolceski (Solvay, 54.3) in second

 

Boys DMR ... the sun is setting and it's getting dark ... Ozzie Myers (Chittenango, 4:34 1600m) anchors Chittenango to the win (11.17.5) ... Jake McAndrew (Oswego, 4:45 1600m) finishes second
