Below are the Pennsylvania District 1 Championships ... The put together their best team race of the season in PA States on November 4th.

I spent some time re-profiling previous District 1 Championship races (especially last year's race that Coatesville won) ... I modified my previous race correction for the 2005 race - my best guess was that the 2005 PA District 1 Boys race had a speed profile similar to a typical race at Saratoga Park (within a few seconds).

Comparing this year's boys race with 2005 (using both graphical profiles and various individual runners) suggests that the 2006 race was definitely faster overall (meaning the course was running faster for everybody in 2006) ... my best current approximation is 5 to 8 seconds faster ... the graphical comparison below is a good illustration ... I used 5 seconds (if I used 8 seconds, the ratings would be one point lower each which clearly falls well within the margin of error) ... Remember, these are still approximations that do NOT have the accuracy of my NY States ratings (I'm giving this race something of an upper limit estimation).
