NY State Outdoor Track & Field Championships 2007

Directions to Dietz Stadium (Kingston, NY)

Parking at Kingston Dietz Stadium:

Parking is limited at Dietz Stadium, especially on Friday as some of the
spaces are rented out to county buildings. Here is how parking will be
handled as you come into stadium on Friday.

All large buses will be directed left up to basketball courts for parking.

School vans will be directed left to grass area by pool.

All cars that do not have a specified color pass will be directed out of
stadium to right and over to plaza for parking and shuttle bus. There
will be 2 buses and 1 trolley running from Plaza over to Stadium during
the following times.
Friday 11:30 - 8:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 - 5:00 PM

If using Mapquest the plaza is on Schwank Ave off of Hurley Ave (also, see map below).

It is only a 5 minute walk from Plaza over to stadium if you so desire to walk.

Coordinators will be given Colored Parking passes on Thursday which will
be in use ... One color will be good for both days admission into stadium,
Another color will be good for Saturday only.

Other Important Items:

No Tents in Bleachers or stands. No Electronic devices (Boom boxes,
etc...).

No throwing in sectors on the Friday morning of the meet after 10:00 AM
so the sectors may be lined for competition. After the lines have been
put down, only warm-up throwing will be allowed in the proper flight.

Spectator gates will be open 1 1/2 hours prior to start of meet. All
athletes will enter at gate with competitor numbers in hand or wearing
them. Coaches with passes also through that gate/

Locker rooms will be open for changing only. No locks allowed.

1/4" spikes permitted
