from the Syracuse Post Standard]: 1500m: Molly Malone (4:40.7) ... this was Molly Malone's first track race since finishing 5th at the NY State Championships (June 14, 2008) and setting a 1500m PR of 4:36.92 3000m: Gennie Ariotta (10:55.0) ... Ariotta is a junior ... I believe she ran cross country in junior high school, but has not run XC in recent years ... she ran one 3000m race indoors (11:04.26). Coutrney Chapman won the 800m (2:28.8) ... freshman Katie Sischo ran on the winning 4x800 relay team (her 2008 XC season ended at sectionals when she broke a bone in her leg; Katie finished 12th at the Manhattan XC Invitational (Eastern States Championship).
