First leg of the girls DMR ... Meghan Dunn (Clinton, 1200m split of 4:02) leads Laura Ewald (CNS, 1200m split of 4:11)
Final leg of girls DMR ... Taryn Menard (CNS) anchored the winning CNS team with a very good 5:25.9 1600m split ... to the inside of Taryn is Kayla Curtis (Canastota) ... just behind is Jenny Ryan who anchored 2nd-place Clinton with a 1600m split of 5:36.7
Section 3 Shot Put leader Scott Anderson (Oneida) won the shot with an excellent series of throws ... 57-5 1/4, 57-5 1/4 and 55-6 1/2
Tatyana Wagner (Corcoran) clearing 5-1 in the high jump to finish 2nd overall ... Tatyana also won the 55m dash
Andrew Dorr (Rome Free) attempting 11-0 in the pole vault ...
Marie Swieta (APW) once again won the high jump ... Marie cleared a season-best 5-6 to win ... above, she barely brushes the bar off in an attempt to tie the Section Indoor record of 5-7
Completing the first lap of the boys 1600m ... currently, Ryan Hohm (Corcoran, 4th, 4:44.8) leads Chris Nolan (Liverpool, 1st, 4:41.8), Dan McKenna (Liverpool, 2nd, 4:42.4) and Dave Cook (Auburn, 3rd, 4:42.6)
Completing the first lap of the girls 1500m ... winner Ashley Hughes (Phoenix, 5:02.4) leads Jacquelyn Rappa (Clinton, 4th, 5:18.4) with the "pack" about 5m behind
Eric Petrie (Liverpool) successfully clearing 12-0 in the pole vault
Coming to the finish of the boys 600m dash ... Brian McNiff (CBA, 1:28.7) beats runner-up Rich Aponte (Proctor, 1:29.2)
Finish of the boys 55m dash ... Damien Rhodes (FM, 6.5) edges Lamar Lewis (Corcoran, 6.5)
Finish of the girls 55m dash ... Tatyana Wagner (Corcoran, 7.5) wins over runner-up Liz Jones (Cazenovia, 7.6) ... Liz Jones ran for Tully last year, but she transferred to Cazenovia in the fall (we will miss Liz's speed)!!
Completing 400m of the boys 3200m race ... winner Dan Tickner (Bishop Ludden, 10:05.4) leads Dan McKenna (Liverpool, 2nd, 10:17.5) and Jarrett Morgan (FM, 3rd, 10:28.9)
Completing the first lap of the girls 3000m race ... winner Ashley Hughes (Phoenix, 10:54.8) leads Jenny Ryan (Clinton, 2nd, 11:04.6), Janet Walsh (Bville, 7th, 11:57.7), Marie Parks (CNS, hidden behind Ryan, 3rd, 11:09.4) and Caitlin Wlodarski (CNS, 4th, 11:33.4) ... Lauren Heron (FM, 5th, 11:43.3) is leading the second group (Lauren ran even though she wasn't feeling well).
